PYMAR has a support programme in place to help graduates improve their training and find employment with shipyards. For this purpose it has signed a number of collaboration agreements with universities and colleges
- Qualified interns: This initiative is being developed in collaboration with the Marqués de Suanzes Foundation to help recently graduated interns from the Naval Architects School of the Polytechnic University of Madrid join companies, whatever their speciality.
- Summer work placements: As part of the collaboration agreement with the Naval Architects School of the Polytechnic University of Madrid and La Coruña University, and thanks to the collaboration of the shipyards, these grants enable final-year students to complete work placements in shipyards during the summer months. Grants are also provided to allow students to join the crew of ships run by shipping companies so that they can familiarise themselves with the operation and workings of ships in service.
- Educational cooperation: A collaboration agreement has been signed with the Polytechnic University of Madrid so that interns from various schools can work at PYMAR or in special workshops at their school.
- Collaboration with the Naval Architects School to organise visits to shipyards that are members of PYMAR for students completing their Naval Architecture studies.
